Sponsored Jump Rope event
Mon 17 Jun 2019We all enjoyed a great skipping workout today as part of our sponsored jump rope event to help raise money for a new play centre for Key Stage 2's playground.
There was some real talent shown with cross-over and reverse skips seen as well as the perseverance and resilience to keep going and get those hearts pumping!
Well done all and grateful thanks to parents ands families for their help in raising money for our pupils.

John-Paul Davies, Sky Sports Presenter launches our Sports Week!
Mon 17 Jun 2019It was a great privilege to welcome back John-Paul Davies to share with us some great thoughts about sport and its impact and importance upon life. Mr. Davies particularly enjoyed hearing the children's vote that they thought he was younger than his brother!!
He proved to be a great inspiration to us all and it was a lovely way to launch our week and also hear our sporting players share some key qualities needed to play well and play fairly.

'Size of Wales' assembly visit
Mon 03 Jun 2019It was great to welcome the climate change charity called 'Size of Wales' to share with us key facts about some important forest protection projects taking place across the world. So important for our children to be aware of the global issue of rainforest deforestation.

Easter Egg raffle winners!
Wed 10 Apr 2019Well done to the pupils here for being raffle winners for our Easter egg competition! We raised a fantastic £360 which will go towards buying a new mud kitchen for our Nursery and Reception children! Thanks to your parents for your great support.

Partner School visit to Bordeaux
Sat 30 Mar 2019Twelve of our Year Six pupils visited our partner school based just outside the city of Bordeaux. The week gave the pupils the opportunity to make new friends, see how children learn in a rural French setting and see something of the beauty of the city itself and the outlying areas such as Dune de Pilat (the highest sand dunes in Europe at 2.7kms) and the captivating town of St. Emilion. The week helped the children create lifelong memories and friends!
