Partner School visit to Bordeaux
Sat 30 Mar 2019Twelve of our Year Six pupils visited our partner school based just outside the city of Bordeaux. The week gave the pupils the opportunity to make new friends, see how children learn in a rural French setting and see something of the beauty of the city itself and the outlying areas such as Dune de Pilat (the highest sand dunes in Europe at 2.7kms) and the captivating town of St. Emilion. The week helped the children create lifelong memories and friends!

Mad4Kids assembly
Tue 26 Mar 2019We were delighted to welcome members of the team running the organisation called 'Mad4Kids' that help meet needs across the world through the collection of shoes. We have been pleased to support this organisation in the excellent work they carry out!

Eisteddfod 2019
Fri 08 Mar 2019Another memorable school celebration of all things Welsh...superb artwork, creative constructions, atmospheric poems, beautiful handwriting and all culminating in the chairing of the Bard for one of our talented Year 6 pupils! Gwaith dda pawb for producing such great work and for contributing to a special day in the life of our school calendar!

Berllan Deg visit to Willowbrook
Tue 12 Feb 2019It was a real delight to welcome the 'Dreigiau' group from Berllan Deg Primary School today. They came along equipped with some playground games which they shared with Class 2 - all in the medium of Welsh of course! Our 'Playground Players' and 'Criw Cymraeg' joined them and the plan is that, having learnt the games, they will now take on the role of teaching them to the rest of the pupils in Foundation Phase!
A great example of school to school working in the hope that we can develop our Welsh language skills - and who better to learn from than our friends at Berllan Deg!Â

Year 5 visit to Storey Arms
Fri 08 Feb 2019What a week we had...strong winds, heavy rain, sleet, hail, rainbows and sun all rolled into four unforgettable days in the Brecon Beacons! Our Year 5 group experienced new adventures, tried new sports and activities and most definitely proved themselves to be resilient, committed and positive throughout. The pictures paint the picture so well and as teachers, we also thoroughly enjoyed sharing with them on this exciting and adventurous learning journey!

Fruit Promotion by the Healthy Crew!
Thu 31 Jan 2019Great work again our 'Healthy Crew' who have turned their idea into a reality and have once again done a great job in promoting healthy eating! A great variety of fruit, beautifully laid out and eagerly enjoyed by the pupils. Well done to Mrs Ellis and the Crew for encouraging us all to eat and enjoy our 'five a day!'
