Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
A great day and great tournament! Unfortunately the lads were knocked out through penalties in the quarter-finals after probably being the better side overall!
However, their attitude and professionalism were superb and they certainly did us all proud - well done lads!
Four of our Year One pupils visited Meadowlane Primary to work alongside other pupils as part of a microbit challenge!
They had a great time with pupils from Meadowlane and Greenway Primaries working through different plans and designs to see how incredibly versatile these little microbits are to send messages and support projects - well done everyone, Gwaith dda!
We all enjoyed a great skipping workout today as part of our sponsored jump rope event to help raise money for a new play centre for Key Stage 2's playground.
There was some real talent shown with cross-over and reverse skips seen as well as the perseverance and resilience to keep going and get those hearts pumping!
Well done all and grateful thanks to parents ands families for their help in raising money for our pupils.
It was a great privilege to welcome back John-Paul Davies to share with us some great thoughts about sport and its impact and importance upon life. Mr. Davies particularly enjoyed hearing the children's vote that they thought he was younger than his brother!!
He proved to be a great inspiration to us all and it was a lovely way to launch our week and also hear our sporting players share some key qualities needed to play well and play fairly.
Here's to a top sporting week!
It was great to welcome the climate change charity called 'Size of Wales' to share with us key facts about some important forest protection projects taking place across the world. So important for our children to be aware of the global issue of rainforest deforestation.
